Kylie Jozwik
Kylie grew up in Lindenhurst, IL. In 2023, she received her B.A. in Biology from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Over the course of her undergraduate career, she completed a microbiology internship at Baxter International Inc. in addition to an REU at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). At BCM, Kylie studied the role of PALB2 in the development of pediatric cancers including rhabdomyosarcoma. Her fascination with mitochondrial genetics brought her to the Patel lab where she is excited to begin her graduate research.
Outside of the lab, Kylie enjoys spending time with friends, trying new coffee shops, and staying active.
